PAUL DINLETIR

Reflection. Imagination. Resonance.

Born in Beirut and raised in a trilingual household between cultures, Paul Dinletir’s life has always been a blend of contrasts—emotion and precision, instinct and discipline, the poet and the warrior. As a self-taught composer whose music has powered some of the most iconic trailers in film history—from Avatar to Avengers—Paul’s work resonates far beyond the screen.

After co-founding the award-winning music house AudioMachine, Paul became known for his ability to infuse cinematic scores with emotional depth and technical brilliance. But his story doesn’t begin in Hollywood. It begins in a house full of jazz, classical, and global rhythms—his pianist father playing in one room, his mother teaching English in another, and Paul quietly absorbing it all.

Originally trained on the piano, Paul’s musical vocabulary expanded early, influenced by everything from Chopin to Pink Floyd. It wasn’t until his wife gifted him a film scoring class at UCLA that he found his true calling—composing for picture. That single gesture set the course for a decades-long career scoring major theatrical campaigns, immersive trailers, and now, deeply personal solo projects.

Paul’s solo work, including his debut album Even Poets Go to War and the upcoming 1000 Faces, blends cinematic storytelling with the raw honesty of a composer willing to break from formula. These albums are an extension of Paul’s own journey—grappling with identity, discipline, vulnerability, and the myth of perfection.

Based in Maui with a studio in Los Angeles, Paul lives a life rooted in intentionality. He’s as devoted to cold plunges and long hikes as he is to creating layered orchestral soundscapes. Through his music, mentoring, and storytelling, he’s creating space for fellow artists to embrace both the chaos and beauty of the creative process.
